Please help: Maya stopped working during install.

Hello. May I ask for help. Maya 2024, iMac Pro, Mac OS Ventura 13.5. Version MG-PickerStudio.MacOSX.mayaPlugin.v1.99.releaseDate20230504. I install by dragging the .mel file into maya but I get a "Maya stopped working" message. Screenshot attached. Thank you and looking forward to hearing from you.
